Urethane Cardio Dumbbell

We have every size of these. They feel great in your hands. The grip feels comfortable and stands up over time. Our vinyl and neoprene dumbbells have ripped over time. They're packaged well. Two in a box, each individually wrapped and a box sized so that it doesn't roll around in the box. There was only one time they were packaged poorly and Power Systems resolved the issue.

These are the best dumbbells. Not knowing how this purchase would turn out, I ordered a pair of the three-pound dumbbells. It turns out this was the best decision I made in getting a set of dumbbells. I love the fit and feel of them. The grip is great for the hands. I also like how they are shaped because they will not move. Also, the dumbbells don't have any scent or smelI and are well designed. I love these so much that I will order both a five-pound and 10 pound pair!

After I received my 17.5 lb. cardio dumbbell with the slit on one head (previously reviewed) I asked Power-Systems to check the quality of this 20 lb. dumbbell (when asked on-line about the on-line shopping experience) before shipping it out. I also asked to make sure that it was well packaged. Needless to say, this dumbbell was in a flimsy box but worst than that, one head was completely crooked and misaligned to the shaft. Therefore, I am DISAPPOINTED and not as happy with the quality as I was in the past. Instead of returning it, I kept it because of the hassle and expense of returning it. I was a little worried about the integrity of it, but so far, it has not come off the shaft. I will not order another one because of this and will use the old 20 lb. dumbbell I have, which is a different brand, when I need to do sets with two dumbbells. It also seems that they are only selling the cardio dumbbells in pairs, not in singles as in the past. In my experience, the packaging on single items has been hit or miss from Power-Systems. The packaging on pairs has been good because each dumbbell was inside its own box and then the pair was put into another box. By the way, one thing I do give Power-Systems a lot of credit for is that they are honest as far as including one and two star reviews. I ordered other fitness equipment from another retailer (located in Denver) that would not post my review of one or two stars. I also browsed several products on their site and there are absolutely no reviews posted with one or two stars.

I was thinking about whether or not I should even bother reviewing this again since this is the second one I ordered. However, what finally made me review it is that this one came with approximately a half-inch long slit on one of the heads of the dumbbell. That is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of five. Luckily, the slit is not deep. I also figured it was not worth returning since it will not affect its use.

I really enjoy using these dumbbells. I have allergies to metals which make it difficult for me to use the regular dumbbells without gloves. These dumbbells do not cause me any problems and are comfortable in my hands. I hope they make them in the heavier weights as well. Customer service has been very attentive and helpful as well.
