How to determine the correct length of a Power Systems Speed Rope for you:

  • Step with one foot into the middle of the rope
  • Bring your hands up towards your chest
  • Place your hands underneath your armpits (the rope should be semi-taut)
  • The length of the rope measured from one hand to the other is the recommended rope length for your height

I ordered 6 jump ropes and when they arrived one length was in error. I called the phone numbers and the courteous man said they were sorry and would send the missing size to me for free. I appreciated the quick and helpful correction.

I purchased the speed rope after using this model at my gym.

I purchased the speed rope after using this model at my gym. Really like the weight and feel of it. It is an excellent product... BUT! I was disappointed that the vinyl rope broke from friction with the inside of the PVC handle wore a groove into it. The rope broke on one side after approx. 150,000 rotations and on the other side after approx. 200,000 rotations. The vinyl rope can be re-secured inside the PVC handle with a machine screw nut of either size #10-24 or #12-24 (my more recent orders have used a larger diameter rope.)
